Wednesday night the 18th of August 2010 saw us welcome our special guests for a moment of reflection and celebration of the new Stillwater.

Recent renovations and a complete new kitchen saw the grand old dam in fine form. Craig, James and Bianca, the new business owners, were formally introduced to the crowd by original developers and business partners Rod and Kim. Our keynote address was given by our Minister for Tourism, Michelle Obyrne highlighting the professional team that has grown and evolved over the decade turning Stillwater into a Tasmanian dining destination.

From reflection on the inagural Stillwater launch in 2000 with the then Premier Jim Bacon and Mayor John Lees there were a few misty eyes in the room to Michelle's spirited toast to the success of the NEW Stillwater, thanks to those that did yeoman's service during the renovations and an address by the new owners ended the formalities and a fabulous time was had by all with plenty of fabulous wine and food and best of all some very special guests. A fitting start to the next decade of Stillwater!
